Cultivating a legacy of students who stand upon the foundation of a biblical worldview, classically trained to pursue wisdom and intellectual excellence with Christ-like character—all to the attainment of their calling in Christ and the glory of God.
Parents and teachers partnering to cultivate resilient disciples.
Through the University-Model®, we collaborate with families to help them provide an extraordinary education for their children so they may pursue Christ's calling in their life with excellence. The Oaks will teach students the tools of learning and instilling in them a love for truth, goodness, and beauty. We will teach all areas of study with the underpinning of a Biblical worldview that reflects God’s design and character. Our approach to student and staff conduct will be rooted in the gospel and Jesus’s model for our lives.
A Christ-centered worldview is the foundation through which all subjects must be viewed and integrated.
God has purposefully knit families together. As such, we believe God’s design is for parents to be their child’s first and most influential teachers and disciplers. The university-model(R) provides an educational framework that allows families ample time together. Any authority we have in your child's education is delegated by you, their first and primary teachers. Our staff will be “fellow workers” (1 Corinthians 3:5-9) in your schooling efforts.
We use classical curriculum and methods: To recover the knowledge of how to teach and learn effectively and efficiently, using the “tools of learning” (i.e., the classical model). All students can learn to “train their brains to retain,” use information logically, and communicate well.. We will use classical curriculum that incorporates the tools of learning tailored to the child’s natural skills at each level of the trivium. integrated subjects and fine arts.
God made humans to be relational. A healthy academic community provides accountability, structure and, well...friends. Since schools are typically a center of social activity for students and parents alike, we will foster relationship building with fellowship opportunities throughout the year to help equip parents and gain support from one another. Parents are responsible for their children’s education and they entrust them to our administration and teaching staff while they’re on our central campus. As such, clear communication through weekly teacher letters and assignment sheets, quarterly parent-teacher conferences, and parent equipping events are key in maintaining a strong partnership.
Proverbs 24:3-4 states that, "By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. We believe God’s “best” in education (whether it’s for K - 12 students or adults) involves much more than just learning information needed for a test or to complete a course. Without wisdom and virtue built on the foundation of God’s word, an education would be shallow at best. God’s word provides the nourishment for children to become strongly rooted in Him. The Oaks was founded to help shape hearts and impact God’s kingdom for generations to come.
